Programmes
Quick answer: ZO Skin Health groups its products into programmes – ready-made routines built on the same three-step base of cleanse, exfoliate and tone, called GSR™ (Getting Skin Ready). The programme you choose depends on your main concern: everyday maintenance, visible ageing, uneven tone, oil and breakouts, or redness. Because ZO is a professional brand, Celsia Skin asks you to complete a free consultation before purchase so the programme matches your skin.
What is a ZO Skin Health programme?
A programme is a curated set of ZO products designed to be used together, so you are not guessing the order or mixing incompatible actives. Every programme starts with the GSR foundation – a cleanser, an exfoliator and a toner – and then adds one or more treatment products for a specific concern. ZO's own guidance is to use each product as directed on its packaging and to follow with a ZO sunscreen during the day.
If you are new to ZO, starting with a programme is usually simpler than buying individual products. It also gives your consultant a clear baseline to adjust later.
The five ZO programmes at a glance

How to choose the right programme
If you want a simple, healthy-skin routine
The Daily GSR + Skin Barrier Defense Program is ZO's introduction for first-time users. It covers the everyday essentials and adds Daily Power Defense, a barrier-supporting treatment. It suits people who want better daily habits rather than a targeted correction.
If fine lines and loss of firmness are your main concern
The Anti-Aging Program is described by ZO as a moderate, five-product regimen for early or more significant visible signs of environmental and chronological ageing. It adds a full-size Growth Factor Serum to the GSR base.
If uneven tone or dark patches bother you most
The Skin Tone Evening + Brightening Program focuses on the look of discolouration without hydroquinone or retinol, which makes it a gentler introduction to brightening. Daily SPF is essential alongside it, because UV exposure makes pigmentation look worse.
If you have oily skin, visible pores or frequent breakouts
The Complexion Smoothing + Clarifying Program is designed for normal to oily skin, to minimise the look of excess oil and help keep pores clear. Persistent, painful or scarring acne should always be assessed by a GP or dermatologist – skincare supports, but does not replace, medical care.
If your skin is red, reactive or easily irritated
The Redness Relief + Barrier Defense Program pairs gentle cleansing with Rozatrol® and a soothing mist to comfort the look of redness. Facial redness can have several causes, including rosacea, so if it is persistent it is worth discussing with a GP.
Why a consultation comes first
ZO formulations include active ingredients such as retinol, exfoliating acids and brightening complexes. Tolerance varies, and some combinations are not right for everyone. That is why Celsia Skin, as an authorised UK stockist, asks every customer to complete a short online consultation before buying ZO. It helps us confirm the programme suits your skin, any current treatments and your goals.
Not sure where to start? Our free online skin consultation can help you choose products for your skin, and is required before purchasing some professional ZO Skin Health products.
How to start a new programme
- Read the leaflet for each product and use them in the order shown.
- Expect some tingling or dryness in the first weeks with exfoliating and active products; this is common but should settle.
- Stop and contact us or your clinician if you have burning, swelling or a rash.
- Use a broad-spectrum SPF every morning, even in autumn and winter.
- Give a programme at least several weeks of consistent use before judging it.
