How It Works

From browsing to your first application, here's exactly what happens when you shop medical-grade skincare at Celsia Skin — and why a few extra steps, like date of birth confirmation and an optional free consultation, exist to keep you safe with clinical-strength actives.

1. Browse by concern, ingredient or brand

Start wherever makes sense for you: shop our full range by skin concern (pigmentation, ageing, acne, sensitivity and more), by key ingredient such as retinol or vitamin C, or go straight to a trusted name like ZO Skin Health or Medik8. Every product page sets out who it's for, key ingredients, and whether a consultation is required.

2. Get a free professional consultation (recommended)

Some higher-strength actives — certain retinoids and peels — are consultation-only: a qualified member of our team reviews a short questionnaire before approving them, so the strength and routine actually suit your skin. It's free, takes around 3–5 minutes, and we recommend it for anyone new to professional-grade actives even where it isn't required. Book your free consultation.

3. Order with the right information

At checkout we ask for the product user's date of birth and, for certain products, a short declaration confirming you understand how to use medical-grade actives safely — this is brand policy, not extra admin for its own sake. We also ask for a residential delivery address, since brand policy means orders cannot be processed to a business address. Before first use of any new product, we recommend a patch test — see our Patch Test Guide for the method.

4. Fast, discreet delivery

Orders placed before 3PM ship the same working day, with FREE next working day UK delivery on every order — no minimum spend. Everything arrives in discreet, unbranded packaging, with tracking sent straight to your inbox.

5. Ongoing support, whenever you need it

Unopened items can be returned within 14 days of delivery. If a product doesn't feel right, or you're unsure how to introduce it alongside your existing routine, message our team — our consultation service isn't a one-off, you can come back to it any time your skin or goals change.

When to see a professional instead

Our consultation checks product suitability — it isn't a medical diagnosis. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, persistent irritation, or a medical concern, please see your GP or a dermatologist; the NHS conditions guide and the British Skin Foundation are both good starting points for general skin health information.

Questions about how it works

The things customers most often ask about browsing, consultations and ordering at Celsia Skin.

Do I have to book a consultation before I can buy anything?

No — most products can be ordered directly. A free consultation is required only for certain medical-grade, consultation-only items (typically higher-strength retinoids and peels), and it's strongly recommended for anyone new to professional-strength actives so the right strength and routine are chosen for your skin.

How long does the consultation take?

Around 3–5 minutes to complete the guided questionnaire. A qualified member of our team reviews your answers and approves suitable products — you'll usually hear back within one working day.

What happens after I place an order?

You'll receive an order confirmation and, once dispatched, tracking details by email. Orders placed before 3PM ship the same working day for FREE next working day UK delivery, in discreet, unbranded packaging.

Do I need to provide my date of birth?

Yes — this is required by brand policy for all medical-grade skincare orders, to confirm the product user is old enough to safely use the formulation. It's kept confidential and used only for suitability checks.

What if a product doesn't suit my skin?

Patch testing before first use is always recommended — see our Patch Test Guide. If you're unsure a product is right for you, our free consultation can confirm suitability before you buy, and our returns policy covers unopened items within 14 days.

Still unsure? Message our team or book a free consultation.
